How do you establish credibility? John Maxwell says that we have to be very open and honest about ourselves. However, you have got to have success under your belt. You have to make your audience believe that you really do know how to do this, whatever it is you are sharing. You cannot do what you do not know. I believe teaching is a creative process in which you are continually selling yourself to whomever you are trying to convince.
