I have always had a strong feeling of independence and vision. I suppose it was inspired by my parents. Hard work is important as a contributor to the human race. Growing up on a farm taught me hard work.
What I have sometimes struggled with is self-worth. I believe that it’s human to make mistakes but I feel horrible when I do make mistakes. Mostly I can talk myself out of this feeling of failure, asking myself, “What can I learn from this mistake?” However, I am human and vulnerable just like everyone else. Therefore I love reading reminders of my self-worth such as the following by S. Stable:
“Let them judge you, let them misunderstand you, let them gossip about you. Their opinions aren’t your problem. You stay kind, committed to love, and free in your authenticity. No matter what they do or say, don’t you dare doubt your worth or the beauty of your truth. Just keep on shining like you do.”
So, I admonish you to keep shining and believe in your worth!
