Wayne Dyer said, “Change the way you look at things and the things you look at will change.” This morning’s mindfulness session with Louise Hay shared the same sentiments. Hay says that like attracts like. If you’re positive, you attract positive. If you see it in your mind you can hold it in your hand. An affirmation is anything you say and think. It is the beginning point of change. I am aware that I can do something to change. Every thought and word is an affirmation and every word and thought create habitual patterns. Change the way you think and talk. Our thoughts create our experiences. Begin to consciously think thoughts that make you feel good. No one can control another unless that person gives permission. Things grow much faster in rich soil. Say affirmations in the present tense, like, “I have… I am…” Affirmations are solutions to whatever problems you might have. Repeat, “All is well. Everything is working out for my highest good. Out of this situation, only good will come and I am safe. I can do it. I can make the positive changes in my life that will make me happy.”
