This morning, after listening to Minute With Maxwell, I was reminded of the importance of asking questions. One of the qualities of a great counsellor is the ability to ask the right questions.
I have personally discovered that this is also a great way to lead, to communicate and to create solid relationships
Maxwell said questions help you find a common ground. They help you help your people. He said the greatest sin in leadership is making assumptions. Questions give you information based on the questions you ask.
I have to agree with Maxwell. Questions are about caring, learning and growing skills that lead to teamwork. The next time you have a conversation with someone, ask questions and you’ll be surprised at what you discover and how much you didn’t know.
