Make time. Set aside a small block of time every day that you can commit to a mindfulness practice.
Find your place. Make sure you have access to a quiet space.
Get comfortable.
Breathe in slowly, then breathe out slowly 3 times. Some educators do this exercise every 20 minutes. Another option is to get students to take turns being in charge of calling the bell.
Take in the present moment.
When you are finished, be aware of the feeling of peace and gratitude for the moments of mindfulness.
