After reading Gavin McCormack’s article on the importance of students to learn by touching their lesson, it reminds me of the kind of learner I was. I’ve always had the need to be able to learn hands on.
The Montessori philosophy is that children learn by touching, feeling, and collaboration are mandatory for effective.
This has-on method of learning is, and always has been my waif teaching. I have found that children and adults learn better hen they can manipulate their lesson as well as collaborate with others.
So, I challenge you to help your students enjoy their learning experiences by ensuring that they can manipulate their lesson and yo will not only have happy learners but also they will remember their lessons.
