Leadership First posted an interesting article on how important it is for leaders to keep learning. He says that the leaders who do the most significant harm to an organization are the ones who think they have arrived; they stop growing, innovating and improving.
To whoever much is given much is required. Your leadership journey will only succeed if you dedicate yourself to continual development.
John Maxwell said, “If you want to lead you need to grow. Good leaders are always good learners.”
I personally have made it my goal to be a lifelong learner. So, it is by such leadership of people like Gifford Thomas, John Maxwell, Brene Brown and Gavin McCormack and many other amazing leaders who teach me daily.
The same applies to educators who are the leaders of children. We must continue to learn and role model the fun of learning daily so that our students will enjoy learning and growing as well.
