Patience is a virtue that you need to practice daily. Leaders who are patient with their staff, employees, and/or students will always do better than those who are impatient. If you want to win, you have to have others with you. Leaders choose not to win the race alone. It is so much more enjoyable to win the race with others. Teamwork is much more fun than going it alone. I would much rather have others with me than cross the finish line alone. However, the dirty little trick is to have patience with those around you who are not as gifted and knowledgeable as you are. I love networking with like-minded folks who are lifelong learners.
