According to the dictionary, “Resilience” is the capacity to recover from difficulties; toughness. Resilience is the ability to spring back into shape, elasticity. Resilience is an important skill because all of us will run into challenges, make mistakes, experience overwhelming difficulties in our lives. Resilience can protect us from developing mental health difficulties when we face tough situations. Resilient kids are prepared for life’s challenges.
