“Risk” to use a baseball analogy, you can’t get to 2nd base without leaving 1st. Some people “Risk” nothing. There are Wise vs. Foolish Risks. Foolish risks are crazy. Take small risks because the fruit of the tree is always out on the limb. Don’t keep hugging the tree trunk. It only carries the rotten fruit. It can be scary to go out on a limb, but I suggest taking a friend with you so you can be stronger as a team. I try to carry my network of family, friends, colleagues and community with me because alone I am often afraid of taking risks. Thank you to all of you who help me take risks.
