The definition of “Tactical” is adroitly planning. It is to be strategic in preparing or repairing daily what you want to do well. We all want to do well, to win at what we set out to be or do. The saying, “The early bird gets the worm,” is true for those of us who strategically plan and prepare for success. Although nobody is perfect, we set out to be the best at what we aim for, what we wish to accomplish. I have often found that my strategic plans must alter along the way, but the fact that I’ve planned helps me alter the plans to suit the situation. I believe that is “tactical” for me. We have the challenge of educating the next generation on how to be tactical and thus successful in their pursuits of excellence.
