Why is it so very difficult for human beings to say, “I don’t know” whenever they don’t know? We all know that nobody is perfect. Educators know that we learn by making mistakes. Scientists make thousands of mistakes daily as they experiment to discover solutions to problems. We must teach our students and children to take risks, make mistakes and LEARN from them. As one scientist mother says to her daughter every day, “Today is a great day to make a mistake!” It’s the only way to be learn, be creative and enjoy life!
