ACTIVITY:
- Ask your students to answer the following question and write down their answers. “How would you like to be remembered by me and/or your classmates? What would you like us to be able to say about you at the end of this school year?”
- Pair/Share their written piece on the above question.
- In the large group, get students to share their principles and jot down their answers on a chart. If some are the same, just add points to the ones that are repeated.
- Ask students if they think living by those principles will be easy all the time. Then ask them to work in groups of 3-4 and come up with ideas of how we can help each other live by our principles. Share!
